Memorial Day, the official kickoff of Summer is upon us and that means tall, cool cocktails that are meant to be sipped slowly. i created this concoction of Veev Acai Liqueur, grapefruit juice and a spash of sparkling water. It’s kinda like a antioxidant-filled Greyhound. It’s a DOTW original!

I chose this drink more for the idea rather than practicality. Made with Three Olives Root Beer Vodka, this week’s cocktail promises every child’s delight – a root beer float. To pull this drink off the ice cream needs to be rock hard, otherwise it kinda melts into the drink. All the other other ingredients need to be super chilled as well. This a perfect drink for one of those Vegas ice bars.

Carnival is the party that runs up to lent. One of the biggest celebrations takes place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. to celebrate the season the makers of Leblon Cachaca sent us some Caipirinha cocktails.
