Chivas Regal has recently recreated its original blend (also a 25-year-old) with Master Blender Colin Scott’s lifetime achievement, Chivas Regal 25 Year Old. Mr. Scott unveiled this luxury scotch whisky at the New York Public Library in a private tasting. We must have missed our invite?

I was reading Esquire and came across this most interesting of cocktails.
In the ever fashionable trend of “Molecular Mixology” a few Esquire staffers created the Wiskeyburger Cocktail, described by Esquire’s David Wondrich as “a glass of tan liquid with some greenish froth on top and a dill-pickle slice hanging off the rim.”
According to Wondrich, the exchange went like this:
What’s this? we asked.
“Whiskeyburger.”
Okay. What’s in it?
“Beefskey, tomato syrup, mustard —
Dad is a classic and so are his cocktails.
No Midori Sours or piña coladas for good old Pops. Nope, our dad sips Manhattans and martinis. These are the cocktails that helped raise us all.
