This sophisticated Valentine’s Day cocktail was created by the Professor, David Wondrich. The sweet, almost fruity port and rum in this drink will have you wondering why champagne is so popular on Valentine’s Day.
- 1 ½ oz good, flavorful white rum such as Banks 5 Island
- ½ oz Fonseca Bin 27 Ruby Port
- ½ oz orange Curacao or Grand Marnier
- ½ oz fresh-squeezed lime juice
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
