This month’s Mixology Monday theme is “Guilty Pleasures”. There are so many cocktails that fit the bill, it was hard to pick just one. After going through the archive, I landed on the ultimate guilty pleasure – The Long Island Iced Tea. Equal parts of Vodka, Gin, Rum, Tequila and Triple Sec all topped with Sweet & Sour and Cola. This drink got me through college and beyond, but in my advanced years I gravitate towards martinis that look my age. Still, every once in a while a Long Island Iced Tea is in order. Typically, I find myself in a college bar, but this is where they are best. If served in a mason jar, even better.
