Ingredients

• 2 oz gin or vodka
• ¼ oz dry vermouth (use less vermouth for a drier martini)

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice and stir. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with olive or lemon twist.

Shake or stir?

Shaking will result in a colder drink and more water dilution. The ingredients are of equal weight, so stirring is sufficient to mix the ingredients. Do whatever you like best.
