This refreshing summer cocktail comes from the nice folks at Herradura Tequila (review to come). Tired of margaritas? (As if!) The Herradura Splash is a unique combo of pineapple, cranberry and premium tequila. YUM!


1 ¼ oz of Herradura Silver Tequila
2 oz pineapple juice
2 oz cranberry juice
Splash of lemon-lime soda


In a cocktail shaker, add ice, tequila, juices, lemon-lime soda, and shake. Serve over ice.

Ralph Erenzo and Brian Lee keep a still in the barn to make whiskey. No, the two are not backwoods bootleggers filling jugs with “XXX” on the side. Dos Lunas Tequila Review

Two bottles of Dos Lunas (one silver one reposado) recently arrived in Sausalito for review. We gathered the troops (not really hard when there is tequila and beer on a Wednesday) and tasted, mixed a few margaritas and had a limbo breakout (yes, it is good tequila!).
