Happy National Hot Toddy Day!
Hot toddies make the perfect drink for wet or cold weather! There are lots of different ways to prepare the traditional cocktail from the Northern British style of boiling water, whisky with sugar or honey to the Southern style that uses hot tea instead of water.
To help us celebrate National Hot Toddy Day, our friends over at Tequila REVOLUCION showed us how to put a twist on the classic toddy. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Revolucion Blanco
.5 oz Luxardo Amaretto
.5 oz orange juice
.5 oz honey
Directions:
Build ingredients in glass of your choice — we like an Irish coffee mug. Add 2.5 oz. of very hot water from the kettle. Stir. Add “horsesneck” long orange peel studded with dried cloves.

Spiced Toddy Revolucion
1.5 oz Revolucion Reposado
.25 oz Allspice Dram
.5 oz maple syrup
.5 oz orange juice
Directions:
Build ingredients in glass of your choice. Add 3 oz. of very hot water from the kettle. Stir. Garnish with an orange peel under a floating star of anise.

Tequila Romero
Ingredients:
2 oz Revolucion Anejo
.5 oz sweet vermouth
1 oz rosemary-infused honey*
Directions:
Build ingredients in glass of your choice. Add 2.5 oz. of very hot water from the kettle. Stir. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary pierced through a lemon half wheel.
*To make rosemary-infused honey, dissolve honey in hot water on the stovetop in a ratio of 1:1. Let cool for an hour with a bunch of rosemary in the pot. The … Read more

Hard Rocker Cider
Ingredients:
1 cup Cabo Wabo Reposado Tequila
4 cups apple cider
1 cup cranberry juice cocktail
¼ cup orange-flavored liqueur
1 tsp nutmeg
Cinnamon sticks, garnish
Directions:
In a pot or crockpot, heat and stir cider, cranberry juice cocktail, and nutmeg on low just until hot for 2 hours. Do not boil. When ready to serve, turn on high for 10 minutes and stir in tequila and liqueur. Garnish with a cinnamon stick. Makes 6 … Read more
