In honor of the Kentucky Derby, here’s a recipe from our book, DIY Cocktails. Horse racing and bourbon go hand in hand, but you don’t have to be in the stands wearing your best seersucker suit or fancy hat to enjoy a little bit of Kentucky at home!

Louisville Cocktail

Dress up your bourbon for Derby day!

Ingredients:
2 parts Basil Hayden’s Bourbon
½ part Lillet Rouge
½ part Lillet Blanc

Directions:
Combine ingredients and shake over ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a large orange twist.
