Update: Now that the Giants and Pats find themselves matched up once again in Super Bowl XLVI, we thought it appropriate to resurface this one drinking game from Super Bowl XVII. We added a few new rules to drink by. Have some rules of you own to add, do it in the comments!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Tequila Avión Silver
6 cups pineapple juice
1/2 cup orange juice
1 to 2 cups fresh fruit, sliced
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/2 cup agave nectar
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large punch bowl with ice and stir well. Serve in a tumbler with ice. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.

This twist on a margarita is a great way to celebrate Green Bay’s Super Bowl XLV team. Green Bay’s team colors, green and gold, are represented through pineapple and fresh mint. It’s kinda like a mojito margarita. I wonder how it is with cheddar?
Herradura Mixologist Mark Drew created this variation of a classic Jamaican drink, the Stout punch, to honor the Steelers SuperBowl XLV team. The Steelers colors are represented by stout (for black) and Herradura Reposado tequila (for gold).
Sangrita is a traditional accompaniment to tequila. While there are many recipes for sangrita, most contain tomato juice, lime juice, chili sauce, pureed onions and salt.
