I was a spectator at the Macallan Ice Ball Plunge at this year’s Tales of the Cocktail when I was struck with an epiphany. The booze industry is even more philanthropic than I thought. Almost every person in the industry that we know has donated time, booze, classes, swag and more. Even DOTW has gotten into the act, sponsoring the Martini Luge at the Silicon Valley Humane Society’s Fur Ball and donating multiple classes as fundraising items.
Father-son distillers partner with Operation Once in a Lifetime to raise funds to send servicemen and women home for Father’s Day. During the month of June, Russell’s Reserve will donate a portion of its sales to Operation Once in a Lifetime (OOIAL). The donation will help OOIAL provide financial assistance to allow men and women of the armed forces the opportunity to fly home and spend some much deserved time with their families.

The folks over at Tide have been helping disaster victims get clean, Loads of Hope, and we thought we should let all of you know about this cause. Started as a result of Hurricane Katrina, the Tide team helped those with out basic comforts like clean clothes.
Tide Loads of Hope has washed over 35,000 loads of laundry for over 20,000 families. We were there after Hurricane Katrina, the Southern California wildfires, the Iowa floods,
