A more culinary variation of a Harry MacElhone classic “Afterall” created by Marshall Altier. This one has great fresh summer flavors and the cardamom is a nice reference to Trini food culture.
- 1½ oz. Denizen Rum
- ½ oz. Laird’s Bonded Apple Brandy
- ¾ oz. Crème de Peach (Massenez)
- ¾ oz. Lime Juice
- 1 barspoon Demerara Syrup
- 1 dash Peach Bitters
- Lime Wheel, for garnish
- Freshly Grated Cardamom, for garnish
Place all ingredients in a mixing tin a shake with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and grated green cardamom.
