Spring is upon us again, and not a moment to soon! As we shake of the cloak of winter, we can once again enjoy light refreshing cocktails that make a Spring evening so wonderful. This week’s cocktail was created by Manny Hinojosa, winner off last year’s Shake It Up: The Battle of the Mixologists competition. The Cielo Rosso, Manny’s creation using Campari, SKYY infusions Citrus, Ruby Red grapefruit juice, Lemon Juice and simple syrup laced with a bit of basil ans lemon peel is an amazing burst of flavor that is perfect as the weather get warmer.

Served at the Walnut Creek Yacht Club (San Francisco Bay Area) created by Manny Hinojosa

1 ounce Campari
2 ounces SKYY Infusions Citrus
2 ounces Fresh Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
1 ounce Fresh Lemon Juice
1 ounce Simple Syrup
Fresh Basil

Shake ingredients with ice, and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist and a fresh basil leaf.
