Reader Jen alerted us that it’s National Margarita Day! This was the first I had heard of it and can find little written, but why not? The Margarita is a classic, so let’s celebrate it.

Here’s our basic Margarita Recipe

1 1/2 oz. Tequila
1/2 oz. Triple Sec
1 oz. Lime Juice or Sweet & Sour
Bar Salt

Garnish - Lime Squeeze

In a shaker with ice combine Tequila, Triple Sec, & Lime Juice. Shake well a strain into a chilled margarita or cocktail glass.
