After 25 years and many, many “Aha!” moments, Oprah signs off for good May 25th. How to toast the Queen of Daytime? Tequila, of course. The folks at Tequila Sauza whipped up these two tequila cocktails for you and your friends to enjoy during Oprah’s last call.
The “O” Revoir
Add a note of class to your farewell get-together with a Sauza Silver Tequila margarita spiked with some traditional celebratory bubbly and the delicious flavor of strawberries. Raise your glasses and toast Oprah reaching her silver anniversary as host of The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Ingredients:
? part Sauza Silver Tequila
? part DeKuyper Strawberry Patch Schnapps Liqueur
1 part frozen limeade
1 part sparkling wine
1 part water
1 handful of strawberries
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a pitcher with ice. Mix well. Add fresh sliced strawberries. Stir and enjoy.
The Aha!arita
Ingredients:
1.5 parts Sauza Silver Tequila
1 part white wine
1.5 parts limeade
2 parts lemon-lime soda
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a pitcher. Mix well. Serve cold or iced.
