Pink drinks abound on Valentine’s Day. But here’s one that looks pretty in pink without being super sweet.

This drink will look beautiful as a part of a romantic display while still delivering kick-ass margarita goodness. So if you and your sweetie are more into cocktails than champagne, try the Margarita of Love this Valentine’s Day!


  • 1 ½ oz silver tequila
  • 1 ½ oz blueberry-agave syrup*
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • ½ oz triple sec


Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Pour into margarita glass with a few ice cubes.

*Blueberry agave syrup
½ cup water
1 ½ oz agave syrup
¼ cup blueberries

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stain out solids and refrigerate the syrup. Add a tablespoon or more of vodka to make it last longer in the fridge.
