Bourbon Picks for the Holidays for $25 – $50

One of my favorite things about bourbon: It is possible to find great bourbon at nearly every price point. And while there definitely are $400 bottles of bourbon out there that will knock your socks off, it’s possible to find something impressive that fits a normal person’s budget. Here are picks in a few price ranges:

Under $25

Wine Enthusiast praised this bourbon’s “buttery feel on the palate” and “tangy fruit and baked pie flavors.” Its lower price tag doesn’t stop it from packing a punch.

This bourbon has a high rye content, making for a honey flavor that is more pronounced. It’s a good choice for mixed drinks, but still solid served on its own. It goes down smooth.

woodford reserve

$30

Woodford Reserve

This is one of the best values in bourbon. With oak and vanilla flavors, Woodford Reserve delivers layers of flavor at a reasonable price.

elijah wood

$45

Elijah Craig, 18 Year

An extremely well-reviewed whiskey with a big finish, this is a good choice for those who want a complex bourbon with a lot of flavor.
