Tropical Itch
This week’s drink of the week was invented at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in 1957 by it’s famed bartender, Harry Yee. Mr. Yee was also responsible for another tropical favorite, the Blue Hawaii. While Mr. Yee may have invented the Tropical Itch, and they are mighty fine over at the Hilton Hawaiian Village (this isn’t our first visit), they have perfected down the beach at the Halekulani. Vieux Carre
Vieux Carre or “Old Square” is how the local French refer to the French Quarter. Created at the Hotel Monteleone in 1938 by bartender Walter Bergeron, the Vieux Carre has become one of the quintessential New Orleans cocktails.
Love Machine
Ingredients:
1 1/4 oz vodka
3 fresh strawberries or 1 oz of strawberry liqueur
2 oz Cascal Ripe Rouge
Garnish with strawberry
Directions:
Start by muddling strawberries with a dash of strawberry liqueur in the bottom of mixing glass. Add vodka and ice and shake hard. Pour in the Cascal, stir gently and then fine strain into a cocktail glass.

Lucky Dragon
Ingredients:
2 oz Camus Elegance VSOP Cognac
.5 oz Grand Marnier
.25 oz ginger liqueur
Directions:
Combine all ingredients with ice and stir. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with an orange twist.

Ingredients:
1 oz Frangelico
2 oz Wild Turkey 101
1 oz Amaretto
.25 oz squeezed lemon juice
1 pinch salt
4 oz soda water
Handful of Cracker Jack, finely crushed
Directions:
