What is a Part?
Q: When a drink ask for 1 part what does that mean 1 shot?

A: One 'part' in bartenders is proportional to size of drink you are making. For example a margarita is 2 parts tequila, 1 part triple sec and 1 part lime juice, that those parts can be 1/2 oz. 1 oz. 2 oz. etc. depending on how much you want to make.
