Virgin Martini 
Q: Is there a way to make a virgin or non alcoholic appletini or and martini?

A: Unfortunately, No there isn't. A virgin martini wold be a very empty glass (the ingredients are vodka/gin & vermounth). You could make a virgin appletini, but that would just be apple juice.




Hpnotiq 
Q: I've heard of a new drink called Hypnotic. Do you know what's in this?

A: Hpnotiq is a blend of premium French Vodka, Congnac and tropical fruit juices. Yum!




Low Carb Drinks 
Q: Cheers to ya, was wondering about low calorie liquors and drinks, yes I’m one of the millions on the Atkins diet and I need to keep my buzz up nightly. I hear scotch is a good one, but wow! $$$$. Any suggestions.

A: Vodka is very low in carbs as is red wine. Pretty much any clear spririt Made from grain are going to be OK. Drinks that have had alot of sugar added (i.e. liqueurs) are going to be higher in carbs.




Blue Curacao 
Q: What is Blue Curacao?

A: Blue Curacao is an Orange flavored liqueur made from Curacao Oranges and then colored blue. The clear version of Curacao is commonly called Triple Sec. Curacao comes in many other colors as well.

Gin vs. Sloe Gin 
Q: What is the difference in taste, compostion, etc. between sloe gin and regular gin?

A: Sloe Gin is a liqueur made from the sloe berry, while gin is an alcohol distilled from grain and flavored with juniper berries. The alcohol content of Gin is much greater than that of Sloe Gin and Gin is clear in color while Sloe Gin is red.

Triple Sec & Cointreau 
Q: Please tell me the flavors of Cointreau and Triple Sec.

A: Triple Sec Orange in flavor, Cointreau is a specific brand of Premuium Triple Sec. Getting their flavor from Curacao Oranges, Triple Sec is also referred to as White (clear) Curacao.

Absinthe 
Q: Do current absinthe drinks (made in the U.S.) really include absinthe? Isn't this illegal in the U.S.? I am wondering since in New Orleans there are drinks such as the Absinthe Suissesse and the Absinthe Frappe. Do these include substituted ingredients?

A: Absinthe is illegal in the US and much if the world. It is only legal in Spain, The Chech Repubic and The United Kingdom. They make a liquor that they call absinthe in the US, but it is really just Anise Liqueur.
