Johnnie Walker Gives
Johnnie Walker is giving back to the community the Holiday Season and Whisky drinkers can help. The whisky maker is donating $5 from every personalized label ordered from johnniewalkergives.com. The money will go to building housing in New Orleans, which is still recovering from Hurricane Katrina. The company has pledged $150,000, which will build 2 houses.
“A Johnnie Walker personalized label is an easy way to make a truly impactful holiday gift,” said Bill Topf, Johnnie Walker Brand Director, Diageo North America. “Particularly during the holiday season, giving a gift that gives back is the right thing to do, and is fully in synch with our message of personal progress. We’re hoping that people return to the website frequently, not only to order labels, but also to see how we’re progressing toward our roof-raising goal.”
The labels are free, and $5 goes to a great cause. So go, do it now, they are only available through December 31st.
